APD investigators look over the scene of an officer involved shooting on Novemeber 10th, 2022 at the Main Police Station parking lot.
Downtown ABQ – Around 1AM on November 10th, 2022, APD was called about a man vandalizing a nearby bank downtown. The man was then seen walking over to the prisoner transport center on 4th and Roma.

Officers chased the man away and he then went to the east parking lot of the main law enforcement building at 4th and Roma. At some point the man produced a knife and less lethal tactics were used on the man. The man apparently did not drop his knife and officers used deadly force against him. The man was transported to UNMH where he died. The man shot has been identified as 41 year old Jesus Crosby.
