Albuquerque –
At approximately 3:15pm, BCSO deputies responded to a report of a possible violent crime involving a stolen UPS truck with the UPS driver still inside the truck. Deputies pursued the vehicle to I-40 near Unser, where it stopped.

The suspect is detained, the victim is safe and there are no reported injuries. There is no active threat to the community.Â
This is still an active scene as deputies work to collect evidence and confirm information. We will have a separate story on the offender’s charges.
