BCSO is asking for the help in leads to a homicide scene from earlier this month. Detectives were able to find only a beaded necklace pictured above.
They say the victim is an adult male ranging in age of 30-50 years of age.
On November 7th, 2022, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department responded to a hiking trail near Juan Thomas Rd in reference to a deceased individual. BCSO detectives deemed it a homicide and investigated the scene.

Investigators could be seen going up a county dirt road into the forest to investigate the scene. Bernalillo County Fire also arrived on scene to investigate since the body appeared to have been burned.
