NE Albuquerque –

A post was shared to social media about 8 golf carts being stolen from the City of Albuquerque’s Arroyo Del Oso golf course last night. It appears workers were able to locate 7 of the golf carts, but there is still one outstanding golf cart roaming around. A person who seems to represent the golf course is offering a $500.00 award for the return of the 8th golf cart.

According to golfcarttogo.com, the Club Car model golf cart can run for 45-90 miles depending on the type of battery and use. A Club Car basic model costs around $7,000 retail and the theft of the golf carts put the case at a felony theft threshold.

Anyone spots a golf cart roaming around the city NOT on an actual golf course should be suspicious about its driver.
