The Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office is committed to the pursuit of justice. The week of August 4, 2025, there are two jury trials taking place in Bernalillo County.

- First Degree Murder (Willful & Deliberate)
- Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Murder
- Tampering with Evidence
On August 5, 2025, at 8:45 AM, a jury trial is scheduled in the case of State of New Mexico v. Angel Crystal Leann Salazar, presided over by Judge Courtney B. Weaks in Courtroom 416.

Andrew Miller
Case Number: D-202-CR-2024-00656
- 2 Counts of Criminal Sexual Penetration in the Second Degree (Results in Personal Injury)
- 3 Counts of Criminal Sexual Penetration in the Third Degree
The jury trial in the case of State of New Mexico v. Andrew J. Miller began on August 4, 2025, at 8:30 AM in Courtroom 416, with Judge Clara Moran. The court will continue to hear the case on August 5 at 9:00 AM, and again on August 6 and 7 at 8:30 AM in Courtroom 402.
UPDATE:
Miller entered a plea of not guilty to the charges brought against him. On August 5, the case ended in a mistrial after a juror reportedly failed to follow the judge’s or court’s instructions. Judge Moran subsequently declared the mistrial. It remains unclear when the case will be retried.
Courts presume that the defendant is innocent unless and until the prosecution secures a conviction through due process.
