The Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office is committed to the pursuit of justice. The week of August 11, 2025, there are five jury trials taking place in Bernalillo County.
Jesse Campos
Case Number: D-202-CR-2024-02416
- 2 Counts Aggravated Assault (Deadly Weapon) (Firearm Enhancement)
- Interference with Communications
The jury trial for the case State of New Mexico v. Jesse S. Campos, presided over by Judge Cindy Leos, is scheduled to take place in Courtroom 420, on August 11, 2025, at 8:30 AM, and will continue on August 12 and 13, 2025, at 9:00 AM each day.
Martin Trujillo
Case Number: D-202-CR-2023-00531
- First Degree Murder (Willful & Deliberate) (Firearm Enhancement)
- Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Murder
- Shooting at or from a Vehicle (Death) (Firearm Enhancement)
Judge Clara Moran will preside over the jury trial in the case State of New Mexico v. Martin Jerome Trujillo III, which is scheduled to begin in Courtroom 416 on August 11, 2025, at 8:30 AM. The trial will continue on August 12 at 10:00 AM, and on August 13, 14, and 15 at 8:30 AM each day.

Judge David A. Murphy will preside over the jury trial in the case State of New Mexico v. Orhan Ozhan, scheduled to take place on August 11, 2025, at 9:00 AM in Courtroom 620.
Jeremy Sanchez
Case Number: D-202-CR-2025-00411
- Battery Upon a Peace Officer
- Resisting, Evading or Obstructing an Officer
The jury trial for the case State of New Mexico v. Jeremy Ray Sanchez, presided over by Judge Cindy Leos, is scheduled for August 14, 2025, at 8:30 AM in Courtroom 420.
Courts presume that the defendant is innocent unless and until the prosecution secures a conviction through due process.
