Case Number: D-202-CR-2024-00608

  • First Degree Murder (Willful & Deliberate)(Firearm Enhancement)

The jury trial in the case of State of New Mexico v. Alexander Daniel Segura Ortiz, presided over by Judge Cindy Leos, is scheduled to take place in Courtroom 420, beginning on August 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM, and continuing daily at 9:00 AM from August 19 through August 22, 2025.

Joshua Dickens

Case Number: D-202-CR-2024-01590

Judge Clara Moran will preside over the jury trial in the case of State of New Mexico v. Joshua Eli Dickens, which is scheduled to begin on August 18, 2025, at 8:30 AM in Courtroom 338, and continue daily at 8:30 AM from August 19 through August 22, 2025.


Renee Sanchez

Case Number: D-202-CR-2024-01684

  • Child Abuse (Does Not Result in Death or Great Bodily Harm)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

The jury trial in the case of State of New Mexico v. Renee Sanchez, presided over by Judge Joseph A. Montano, is scheduled to take place in Courtroom 406, beginning on August 20, 2025, at 8:30 AM, and continuing on August 21 at 9:00 AM and August 22 at 8:30 AM.


Adam Benton

Case Number: D-202-CR-2024-02017

  • Aggravated Battery (Great Bodily Harm)
  • Resisting, Evading or Obstructing an Officer (Arrest)

Judge Joseph A. Montano will preside over the jury trial in the case of State of New Mexico v. Adam James Benton, scheduled to begin on August 18, 2025, at 8:30 AM in Courtroom 406, and continue on August 19, 2025, at the same time and courtroom location.


Courts presume that the defendant is innocent unless and until the prosecution secures a conviction through due process.
