The Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office remains committed to pursuing justice, and starting February 9, 2026, three new jury trials will commence in Bernalillo County.

The trial in State of New Mexico v. Dylan Jay Maho before Judge Cindy Leos is scheduled in Courtroom 420, on February 9, 2026, at 1:30 PM, and will continue on February 10, 11, and 12, 2026, beginning at 9:00 AM each day.

Judge David A. Murphy will preside over the jury trial in State v. Darrell A. White in Courtroom 338 on February 9, 2026, at 9:00 AM, and the trial will continue on February 10, 2026, at 9:00 AM.

The jury trial in State v. Orlando Frankie Santillanes, presided over by Judge Britt M. Baca, is scheduled in Courtroom 716 on February 9, 2026, at 8:30 AM, and will continue on February 10 and February 11, 2026, at 8:30 AM.
Courts presume that the defendant is innocent unless and until the prosecution secures a conviction through due process. This means the defendant remains legally not guilty unless the prosecution proves the charge beyond a reasonable doubt and a jury returns a verdict of guilty.
