A tweet sent out by Bernailllo County Sheriff’s office indicates they were involved in a deputy involved shooting near Edith and Rutherford. No deputies were injured and unclear condition on suspect.

According to BCSO, a deputy fired at least one round, striking the suspect. The suspect was taken to the hospital by the Bernalillo County Fire Department. The man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
It was a traffic stop and the suspect displayed a fire arm and the deputy fired upon the individual.
