Albuquerque –

Officers from the Albuquerque Police Department are investigating two shootings and a vehicle crash in the Northeast Heights that appear to be related.

Traffic is shut down in all directions of Montgomery Blvd. between Marla Dr. and Andrew Dr., which is west of Louisiana Blvd. N.E.

Around 3:30 AM on March 11, officers responded to a shooting in the Montgomery Park area near San Mateo Blvd. Shortly after, a vehicle involved in the shooting crashed in the 6801 Montgomery Blvd. N.E. area. According to APD, a second shooting occurred following the crash.

Two people, including the suspect, were fatally shot. A third person was also shot and transported to a local hospital. APD has not disclosed the condition of the third individual.

APD states “details are preliminary and homicide detectives have been called out to start an investigation.”

We have a reporter at the scene waiting for a press conference that is supposed to begin around 9:30 AM.

Seems like you all literally did a copy and paste from the real news channels here in town. Except you all are a few hours behind the rest. I wish I could say it’s shocking how slow you were to report this but I’m not. It didn’t happen in the SE part of the city so it took a backseat

    1. @Joe. Way to try and discredit a credible media source who actually cares about keeping us informed. I wonder who put you up to your slandering commentary. Our ‘real’ news channels don’t report on what the crime that is rampant in ABQ and protect our local politicians who have failed miserablly at their jobs. Thank you ABQ Raw and please keep up the great work!

Definitely NOT great work! Clearly they were way behind the ball on this. Probably because like I said it didn’t happen in the SE (war zone) part of the city. The real news had already made people aware of the situation hours before @ABQRAW fumbled their way to the scene.

Obviously you are a fan of click bait. The fact people lost their lives is horrible even for the guy who caused this. That said that is already done and over. Now we focus on the next part. Which is learning from this tragedy. How can we learn when what’s being “reported” to us is not only late but full of unnecessary commentary from @ABQRAW!? I’m not trying to say abc cbs or nbc are the most trustworthy because they have their agendas also. They at least keep the story about the story. They don’t call people names they don’t use slurs in the reporting. They don’t solely focus on the negative in the city. They also report on issues going on in different areas of the city. @ABQRAW their bread and butter is reporting and slandering people mainly on the SE area of the city. Which is obviously why they were sooooo behind on covering this because it’s was in the NE part of town! So WTF is wrong with you that you swallow this “tabloid” dribble hook line and sinker

    1. It wasn’t even remotely timely, just be greatful the article isn’t filled with numerous typos and incomprehensible dribble. I’ve called them out so many times for not editing and they will often sneak in and add edits to the things I’ve pointed out. These are disgruntled retired cops who love to pretend they are news casters. They even do the REALLY cheesy news anchor radio voice when they make video content. These guys suck.

    1. you’d lose that bet. 3 people were sleeping in parked car in a church parking lot when a would-be robber shot the person sleeping in the driver seat (brotherchu) then shot the mother in the backseat, then carjacked the vehicle. at a second scene the carjacker crashed into a parked vehicle and pulled a gun on said person who happened to have his own gun and fired back killing the carjacker. two men are dead, the suspect and victim 1 (brotherchu).

    1. I’m not losing sleep over a known child groomer and woman beater who openly supports what diddy is being charged with taking a dirt nap.

I only feel bad for mamachu that her kids failed her and tophia was too lazy to get off her high horse and look for work, spending money they could have used to get off the street going to Comic-Con.

All while tophupa repeatedly wished death on others, and made fun of people who had passed away. Karma sure has a way of evening things out.

  2. I just saw the family 2 days ago at a cars and coffee. You never know when the last time you see someone is. They were always attending car shows / meets. Rest in peace and prayers out to the Family.

Does no one remember the mid to late 90’s here in ABQ!? Everyone is soooo concerned yet the people commiting the majority of the crimes are the same kids from back then. Now they are adults mostly in and out of prison most of their adult lives. This is not a new thing people! Is it unexcusable of course. But to make it seem like the world is crumbling out of the blue makes no sense! For those that didn’t see this coming shame on you. Here you are blaming everyone but yourselves! Things go in 30 yr cycle’s everything. We are and have been closing in on that mark! Don’t act shocked. Go out and do something! Shit neighborhood watch used to be a valuable tool for many reasons. Now people just want to be keyboard social justice commandos
