Albuquerque –

On November 6th, 2024, the Central and Coors/Bluewater area became quite the spectacle for onlookers. It turns out Albuquerque Police Officers were trying to find a stolen truck on three wheels.

Around 3pm, APD officers located the truck in an apartment complex off of Bluewater NW. Officers surrounded the truck, and the occupants unrealistically decided to flee from the police. The driver, identified as 28-year-old Lawrence Gray, reversed the stolen truck at a high rate of speed and ran into police units. He than sped off southbound on Coors Blvd to try to avoid capture.

Gray eventually crashed the truck near Central and Coors. He and a female occupant exited the truck and fled the scene. APD was able to take him and the female into custody pretty swiftly.

Gray was charged with four counts of aggravated battery on a police officer, resisting evading officers, receiving and transfer of a motor vehicle, false title and registration, leaving the scene of an accident, criminal damage to property over $1,000 and tampering with evidence.

Shianne Temple pulled the “I didn’t know nuthin” card. She will now be able to show her loyalty to her partner in crime and put money on Gray’s books as she is free and Gray will be held at the Metropolitan Detention Center for a few moments.

One police officer had to be taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons because of this cretins nonsense.

**Editor’s note: age of the accused has been amended. He is 28, not 26.

APD confirmed the female passenger, Shianne Temple, was arrested on outstanding warrants. At the time of publishing a record of her arrest was not available.

  1. Love your sarcastic humor, haha. ” . . .Gray will be held at the Metropolitan Detention Center for a few moments.” I do not understand why the female dog was not cited as an accomplice to this crime but I guess police didnt want to spend any more time writing this up and detaining her (for a few moments lol) since she will probably walk anyway through the revolving door.

  2. They get 23 1/2 hours lock up? Then some dem will say how they need more tax dollars to post deal with “mental health”? How come NM’s keep voting for more of the same? Like some kind of stupid syndrome? DNA? White sands? Inbreeding? Are the majority of NM’s felons or something? They voted for dems do to what!?
