Albuquerque –

There were videos circling online about a new crop of scantily clad ladies walking up and down Central Ave. near the intersections of Dallas and Pennsylvania. Some online videos show the ladies with no pants on, and they were yelling at the video takers to stop filming them or there would be violent consequences.

We decided to cruise Central ourselves to see if they were out walking the streets and they were indeed on the street corners trying to talk to drivers and pedestrians walking by. They eventually noticed us filming and decided to walk away eastbound on Central.

We are unsure what the motives of these scantily clad ladies are but they are making a serious fashion statement in the middle of winter in the colorful War Zone corridor.

  1. I saw let them do them. If 2 adults want to exchange whatever for whatever then let them. A lot of people talking about freedom this and freedom that. But what they really mean it’s their freedoms on nothing. If you don’t cosign to them then forget it. At the end of the day if your not bothering me and mine then I’m not going to bother you and yours.

  2. Damn APD is getting desperate that Medina is sending his officers to make him more money somehow. Someone has to look at his bank accounts to see how much he’s getting in kickbacks.

  3. ABQ RAW,
You reported “We are unsure what the motives of these scantily clad ladies”. Seriously? There’s only one motive I can think of. I used to think that ABQ RAW would be a great independent source for news but lately, there’s nothing more than accident reports and stories with stupid statements like the one above. Will pull my support for this site unless ABQ Raw starts doing some “real” reporting on important issues that are impacting our city. The list of Mayor Keller’s corruption and mis-use of government issued funds is increasing but I have yet to see anything about that.

Agreed ABQ RAW is/has been taking a downward turn. They are more into name calling and misreporting on issues. I’ve made several comments about that on various stories. They don’t even bother to address the issues that some of us raise. I really hope they get a grip and come back to what made them popular with the citizens of this city.

  5. True, if you were so unsure about the motives of these ladies, then why was there no investigative reporting by going and asking them? I would have walked straight up to them and asked what the hell are you doing! Smh

  6. It’s so sad that what was once a respected independent news source is now knowingly exploiting minors that have already been exploited and victimized.

Your post going viral and your post on the arrests literally put victims lives in danger and so I truly wonder how you sleep at night knowing you are no different than a sex trafficker.
