We have since learned that the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department issued a warrant for felony and misdemeanor charges against Zimmerman after the Pueblo of Sandia called them to investigate his pre concert behavior and causing criminal damage tp Pueblo property.

According to the criminal complaint, Zimmerman arrived at the Casino Resort already drunk and was stumbling out of his SUV with his entourage in tow. He was seen smoking a cigarette and intentionally burning his entourage with the lit cigarettes. The complaint mentions a lot of rough housing between his band mates.

Sandia personnel tried to escort Zimmerman to a sound check before his show and he instead became combative. Zimmerman exited his SUV and walked across the property to the concert venue and showed signs of extreme intoxication.

The complaint goes on to say during the eventual sound check for his show, Zimmerman swung the guitar and tripped over the stage. He then proceeded to throw other musical instruments and microphones onto the ground. He began to also kick the microphone stands but failed at that. He then got into a verbal and physical exchange with his band mates. He also punched a light box and kicked a black equipment box.

Zimmerman eventually left the sound check and continued to walk around the property stumbling around in his drunken state. He informed Sandia Resort and Casino staff that he would cancel his show. The Casino immediately asked him to leave. He refused to leave in Sandia Casino vehicles and Sandia Tribal Police were called. He was ultimately escorted off the property by Sandia Police.

Zimerman posted this to his Instagram page with the concert:

The following day, housekeeping discovered his room was trashed and many things were destroyed inside the room. The complaint details a TV, phone, coffee table, two chairs, holes in the walls, and stains on the carpet. He had also ordered $400 of alcohol to the room and never paid the bill.

Sandia staff attempted to contact Zimmerman and his representatives to no avail.

Zimmerman is charged with felony criminal damage to property, and falsely obtaining services. Zimmerman’s most popular song is “Rock and a Hard Place“.

All concert goers were refunded their money for this canceled show.
