Dead Infant Discovered at SE ABQ Home

Albuquerque –

This afternoon around 2:30 PM, officers with the Albuquerque Police Department responded to the 300 block of Grove St SE, following a report of a person who was not breathing.

We went to the scene and observed APD’s mobile crime scene unit parked in front of a residence, along with multiple APD units in the driveway. CYFD personnel were also seen at the scene.

We contacted APD for additional information. APD’s Public Information Officer Gilbert Gallegos stated officers were called to the area for a “deceased infant.” No additional information was provided.
