Albuquerque –
The Albuquerque Police Department is responding to a double stabbing near 86th and Central. Two victims have been transported to a local hospital; their conditions are unknown at this time.

The stabbing happened at 86th and Central near the Breaking Bud Dispensary. We observed clothing belonging to the victims laying in the frontage road.
The suspects allegedly fled the scene and went east on Central. Reportedly, APD has detained two individuals near a bus stop at Central and Coors. APD is working to determine if they are connected to this stabbing. While at the scene, we observed a large knife next to the individuals who were being detained and questioned by APD.
There is a police presence along Central, from 86th and Central to Coors and Central, as APD is investigating this crime scene. Drivers are advised to avoid the area. APD made this a serious crimes call out and is having detectives and crime scene specialist investigate the scene.

We have learned that the individuals detained by APD at the scene earlier today are not connected to the stabbing, no one is in custody at this time.
