Environmentally Friendly Drug Dealer Tries to Flee from Police on E-Bike, Gets Arrested on Central

Albuquerque –

On September 18th, 2024, an Albuquerque Police officer observed a large crowd in front of 6404 Cochiti Rd SE. This area of Cochiti has become a 24-hour hang causing problems with using, trafficking narcotics and trespassing.

According to a criminal complaint, 38-year-old Narciso Pohl of Albuquerque, was cruising the War Zone on an electric bike dealing drugs. An APD officer pulled up to the property and observed Pohl flee on his e-bike with a female on the back.

The officer tried to do a traffic stop on the bike, but Pohl kept going westbound on Central Ave. The female jumped off the bike and Pohl kept fleeing the officer. He tried to do his best to jump a median and lost control of the bike. He began to run from APD officers, but they were able to take him into custody.

While searching Pohl, officers found baggies of meth. He is charged with criminal trespass, resisting/evading officers, and possession of a controlled substance.
