Albuquerque – APD tells us that their officers in the Foothills Area Command are investigating a pedestrian fatality. The fatality happened in the intersection of Tramway and Copper.
They go on to say that this evening at approximately 7:36 PM, their officers were dispatched to the intersection in reference to a caller advising of a person lying in the middle of the roadway.
Officers arrived and discovered a dead body. After a preliminary investigation, it was discovered the individual was hit by a vehicle which was still on scene.
The Albuquerque Police Department’s Motors Fatal Team will be investigating this incident.
Northbound Tramway at Copper will be closed as the investigation is being conducted.
