Fire and law enforcement officials were on scene to warn but to also give advice to people launching from the beach head. Bernalillo County and Albuquerque Fire Departments had a hovercraft patrolling the river for potential rescues. While we were on scene rescuers went up river to rescue a paddle boarder who was stuck in the river.
