Albuquerque –
Around 3:55 PM, officers from the Albuquerque Police Department were dispatched to 2107 Menaul Blvd for reports of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found one individual with a gunshot wound. APD officers are reportedly blocking off and searching the area around Twisters for the suspect. Eyewitnesses have reported that both the offender and victim are allegedly juveniles.
Albuquerque Fire Rescue and Albuquerque Ambulance arrived on the scene and are transporting the victim to a hospital. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
APD officers have also cordoned off Menaul and Princeton, so it’s advisable for drivers to steer clear of the area.

UPDATE:
According to APD, the victim from this shooting has died from their injuries.
This is the second homicide in Albuquerque in less than 10 hours.
Update 2:
At a press conference given by APD’s civilian PIO Gilbert Gallegos, he stated that the actual shooting took place in the parking lot for the Twisters, near the front entrance, which is on the south side. Gallegos reports that no one is in custody for this homicide, and that the offender or offenders reportedly fled on foot. He goes on to say that the victim is in their 30s. Gallegos states that several witnesses saw what transpired and the witnesses noted different ages for the offender and victim. Gallegos went on to say that APD is also looking for surveillance video in the area. They are also asking people with any information, video, or tips on this homicide to please call 505-242-COPS.
