Homeless Encampment Fire with Propane Tanks Nearby Almost Cause Bosque to Burn, 1 Puppy Rescued

Albuquerque –

Today, Fire crews extinguished another fire in the Bosque near Tingley Beach. The fire was about 2/10ths of an Acre.

Fire appeared to involve a large encampment and contained 8 five gallon propane tanks. A small puppy was rescued .

The area was protected from damage. No injuries reported. The fire is under investigation.
