Upon arrival, AFR Engine 13 (E13) discovered a fire already in progress within the home. Engine 13 activated an emergency rescue status due to information indicating that an individual was inside of the residence. Firefighters worked quickly to bring the blaze under control, succeeding within just 7 minutes. Regrettably, the fire inflicted significant damage to the structure, primarily concentrated in the area where the fire originated, rendering it nearly a total loss.
Tragically, one civilian lost their life in the fire incident, while none of the firefighters sustained injuries. AFR’s fire investigators are on the scene to ascertain the cause and the origin of the fire. As of now, the cause remains undetermined, and there are no further details available at this time.
