Albuquerque Police are investigating a homicide that occurred at the Motel 6 at 6015 Iliff Road NW on Saturday, April 29, 2023.
Around 11:15PM on Saturday, Albuquerque Police Department’s sworn PIO Chase Jewell informed the media that APD officers were dispatched to the motel for reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they located an individual outside the motel who had been shot. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Albuquerque Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting. APD has not released any information about possible suspects or motives.
