Albuquerque –
Just after 5:10 PM, shots rang out in the 3400 block of Alpha Ct NW. When the caller phoned for help, they reported an individual had been shot multiple times, including in the chest and arm. Moments later, another person called 911, reporting that they had heard gunshots and that their neighbor had been shot. The armed offender reportedly fled the scene after shooting the man, APD is attempting to locate him.
Albuquerque Fire Rescue was sent to the scene to render medical aid. The man shot was reportedly shot four times. Despite the efforts of AFR personnel to administer CPR, the individual died at the scene.
APD’s homicide detectives and crime scene specialist will be called to the scene. APD has blocked off Alpha Ct. NW, Alpha Ave NW, and Polaris St NW.

A suspect was taken into custody.
