Albuquerque –
Around 2:45 PM, Bernalillo County Fire Rescue and Albuquerque Fire Rescue were dispatched to the 2600 block of Coors Blvd SW, which is near Coors Blvd and Ervien Ln SW for a structure fire.
Based on photographs received and photos posted to social media, multiple mobile homes are currently engulfed in flames. Firefighters from both agencies are actively engaged in extinguishing the fire and preventing its further spread.
The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office stated that “Coors is closed in both directions between Blake and Ervien due to a fire. Please use Unser as an alternate route.”
If we learn more, we will update you.

That’s my home!
Oh well, it’ll be for the best. As a hoarder the place smelled of my unwashed body odor, moldy food, dead cats, my own feces.

It is always such a heartbreaking situation when we see trailers that people live in go up in flames and utter destruction so quickly. Rarely does a trailer fire ever end in less than total loss and many times, human lives as well. I am praying that no lives are lost here. I know it’s a difficult situation, but renting or owning and living in a trailer is a losing proposition in my opinion. Value depreciates just like a vehicle, and because of the way they are built, they are a box of kindling ready to burn. God bless and protect those people affected by these fires.
