SE Albuquerque – APD has informed us that there has been a murder in SE Albuquerque. Sworn PIO Daren DeAguero announced that: officers in the South East Area Command are currently investigating a shooting in the area of Avenida Cesar Chavez and University Boulevard.
When officers arrived they discovered one individual who had succumb to their injuries. Another was transported to the hospital and listed in critical condition.
At this time Homicide Detectives will be taking over this investigation and nobody is in custody. The area is temporarily closed while the investigation is being conducted.
We have heard from a witness that the victim could be a child as young as 11 years old.
One of our reporters is on the way to the scene to gather more information.
