Albuquerque –
Around 7:30 PM on April 18, someone reported to police about a shooting near the 9500 block of Claremont Ave NE, near Conchas St NE and Claremont Ave NE. This is in the vicinity of Conchas Park. It was stated that the shooting victim was in the backyard of a residence. Albuquerque Police Department officers and Albuquerque Fire and Rescue crews responded to the scene.
When they arrived, they purportedly found one person with a gunshot wound. Emergency personnel transported the individual to a local area hospital.
The offender reportedly fled the scene before police arrived. For a brief time, APD closed Parsifal Street at Claremont, but as of this publication, it has reopened.
