Albuquerque –
Around 12:15PM, the Albuquerque Police Department responded to a crash involving a pedestrian on Central Ave at Monroe St. NE.

Witnesses say a person on a bicycle was hit in traffic and caused heavy damage to a vehicles windshield.
Albuquerque Fire responded to the scene and immediately transported the pedestrian to UNMH in critical condition.
Central going both directions will be closed in this area while APD investigates the scene.
