APD officers were called to a gunshot victim in a vehicle at the Copper Ridge Apartments. The apartments are near Tramway and Copper. When officers arrived they found the victim deceased in the vehicle. This was dispatched around 6:30AM.
The victim had a gunshot wound to the head. This is the 137th of the year and the second homicide in a matter of 8 hours. The other one was across town with a stabbing at a Dion’s at Central and Coors Ave.
