Shooting Leaves at Least 1 Wounded Near Smoke Shop

Albuquerque –

Around 6:40 PM, there were reports of multiple gunshots near the area of San Pedro and Kathryn SE. ShotSpotter recorded at least 15 shots fired.

Officers from the Albuquerque Police Department were dispatched to the vicinity of 908 San Pedro Dr, but were told the shots may have originated closer to the Dank Smoke Shop.

Reportedly, the offender fled the scene. APD is securing the area so that Albuquerque Fire Rescue or Albuquerque Ambulance can transport any potential victims. At least one victim was transported to UNMH with a gunshot wound.
