Albuquerque –
Around 4:45PM, the Albuquerque Police Department was dispatched to the corner of Indiana and Bell in reference to a vehicle crash. During that time, there was reports of shots being fired in the same area.
APD officers arrived on the scene and located the suspects involved in the incident. A foot chase then ensued. While we were on scene, we saw APD officers questioning a group of teens and a few of them were detained in a patrol unit. AFR provided medical care to victims of the car crash at the scene, and there were no apparent gunshot victims.
Witnesses in the neighborhood told us they heard 4-5 shots when the incident started.
