Albuquerque –
At approximately 12:48 AM, on March 8, officers from the Albuquerque Police Department and Albuquerque Fire Rescue were dispatched to a stabbing at 2321 International Ave SE, the Extended Stay America. AFR’s Engine 2 and Rescue 2 arrived at the scene alongside officers from APD’s University Area Command. One individual was reported to have been stabbed.
Albuquerque Police were reportedly still on the scene as of early this morning, suggesting that the person who was stabbed may have critical injuries and is not expected to survive, or may have died at the hospital.
UPDATE:
We reached out to APD earlier in the morning, and did not hear back about this incident. This likely means the person involved survived.
If we learn more about this incident, we will update you.
