Albuquerque –

Today at around 3:30PM, the Albuquerque Police Department got reports about a stolen SUV driving through the northeast part of Albuquerque. Police located the SUV and observed a male driving the stolen vehicle.

APD officers followed the SUV from a safe distance and the male suspect began to try to evade police. The suspect had no regard for the communities safety and decided to reach speeds over 80MPH on Lomas Blvd.

WATCH THE VIDEO HERE:

The suspect eventually crashed into an innocent driver near the 9900 block of Lomas Blvd NE. The stolen vehicle had severe tire damage and was disabled so the suspect abandoned it in the middle of Lomas Blvd NE. APD saw him flee from the vehicle north into a residential area on foot and the battle of cardio was on. APD saw the male jump into a backyard near the 10000 block of Wade Circle NE. Officers used their superb parkour ability to climb the tall fencing around the residence and they found their suspect in a backyard. The male was quickly and effortlessly taken into custody in the backyard. While on scene he was mumbling and he appeared to be on some sort of narcotics.

We will update the story when we get booking information and charges.
