SWAT Situation in SE ABQ Ends in Peaceful Arrest

SE Albuquerque –

A 2.5 hour SWAT situation in Albuquerque’s southeast part of the city at the 10000 block of Cochiti RD ended with a barricaded adult male suspect identified as Valentine Espinoza was taken into custody. He had a warrant from 2019 from Kansas with an assault with a deadly weapon.

Bernalillo County S.W.A.T assisted Albuquerque Police Department on the call. Armored vehicles and tactical units were deployed to the location.

It is unclear what lead to the call out and if Espinoza will be extradited to Kansas for his warrant.
