Town of Bernalillo’s Tractor Supply Robbed at Gunpoint, Suspects Flee to Albuquerque

At around 6:00 PM, the Tractor Supply in the Town of Bernalillo was robbed at gunpoint. Witnesses say that at least one suspect pointed a gun at the store clerk.

Bernalillo Police responded quickly to the scene and gathered suspect information. They located the suspect’s vehicle and initiated a pursuit which headed south into Albuquerque. Speeds during the pursuit were said reach up to 90 MPH.

Bernalillo Police chased the vehicle to Rio Grande Blvd and I-40 but lost visual contact and the offenders escaped. It is unclear if the Albuquerque Police or Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office were involved.

  1. The chase ran through Corrales. I came upon the chase on Corrales Rd around 6 PM yesterday and saw a large 90’s middle SUV and 6+ Bernalillo County police cars were in pursuit through Corrales. I am shocked that anyone decides to go through Corrales and more shocked that they actually got away. I don’t understand why the Bell Oak County Police Department dispatch didn’t call to have Corrales Police set up a roadblock a before Alameda.
