Albuquerque –

A multi-vehicle crash is blocking several lanes on northbound Interstate 25 just north of Gibson Blvd, approaching Avenida Cesar Chavez (ACC).

Officers with the Albuquerque Police Department and New Mexico State Police responded to the scene and found at least three vehicles involved in the crash. It is unclear whether anyone was injured or transported to a hospital by Albuquerque Fire Rescue.

The left shoulder and left lane are blocked by a NMDOT Help Truck as emergency crews respond to and investigate the crash. As of this publication, the right and center lanes remains open, though lane closures are subject to change. You can go to NMROADS.com for updates.

Drivers should expect delays and consider alternate routes. Drive safely, ABQ.

UPDATE @ 5:00 PM:

Police have closed the center lane while a flatbed tow truck removes one of the vehicles involved in the crash.

UPDATE @ 5:18 PM:

Officers have reopened northbound Interstate 25.
