We will give updates on crashes we hear around the Albuquerque area. We’ll include the time and location of each incident and continue updating the list as new crash reports come in from across the Albuquerque metro area.
As a rule of thumb, most crashes are cleaned up within a hour or less. If it is a critical or fatal incident it will take up to 4 hours for the crash to be investigated. A crash involving a vehicle versus pedestrian was reported at Central Ave and Girard Blvd. The car reportedly fled. The pedestrian was taken to UNMH with non-life threatening injuries.

A vehicle vs pedestrian crash occurred at University Blvd NE and Las Lomas Rd NE. A caller stated that the pedestrian was bleeding from their mouth.

Police and fire personnel responded to a two-vehicle accident that was reported on Isleta Blvd SW & Rio Bravo Blvd SW.

There is a crash near I-40 eastbound at 4th. A semi is involved and it appears to have crashed into the jersey barrier. NM DOT says “Crash, I 40 eastbound at mile marker 158, (4th ST.). Left 2 lanes and left shoulder closed.” The driver is not injured. Traffic is backing up to 12th.

Police and fire crews were dispatched to a crash with reported injuries at 2820 Coors Blvd NW, this is near Quail Rd NW and Coors Blvd NW.

A caller phoned police to advise them of an accident at I-25 and Montaño. It’s unclear if lanes of traffic are blocked or if there are injuries.

Police and fire crews are at a crash at Western Trail NW and Coors. The accident is in the westbound lane of Western Trail NW, right before Stafford.

A caller told police an accident just occurred at Gibson Blvd SE and University Blvd SE. The two vehicles are blocking westbound lanes of Gibson just past the intersection, and both are disabled. It is unknown if any injuries are reported.
