Traffic Report for September 19th, 2025

We will give updates on crashes we hear around the Albuquerque area. We’ll include the time and location of each incident and continue updating the list as new crash reports come in from across the Albuquerque metro area.

As a rule of thumb, most crashes are cleaned up within a hour or less. If it is a critical or fatal incident it will take up to 4 hours for the crash to be investigated. Albuquerque –

@ 8:39 AM

A crash involving at least two cars was reported in the turn lane at on Lomas to go north on San Mateo. A black two door sedan was reportedly hit head-on by a blue car. Injuries are unknown. APD had the left turn lane blocked.

@ 11:27 AM

BCSO deputies were on scene of a crash in the area of Bridge and Old Coors. The number one lane of eastbound Bridge is closed.

@ 1:10 PM

APD officers and AFR are responding to a vehicle versus bicycle at Candelaria and Juan Tabo near the AutoZone. The cyclists injuries sound critical. If more is learned we will update you.

@ 4:30 PM

APD, AFR and AAS responded to a motorcycle crash at 324 Lomas Blvd NW, which is on Lomas, just before 4th. This motorcycle accident was next to the bumblebee transformer. The rider was reportedly taken to the hospital by AAS.

@ 6:37 PM

A motorcycle crash was reported at Commanche and Alexander. Unknown of rider condition or vehicles involved.

APD officer was at Coors and Quail for some type of traffic blockage.

APD officers responded to a crash at I-25 and Gibson.

@ 7:45 PM

A two vehicle accident was reported at McKinney Dr NE & Academy Rd NE. The crash was purportedly blocking the intersection.

@ 8:15 PM

A solo car crash was reported at I-25 and Montaño. Airbags have been deployed, but exact injuries are unknown. Reportedly, this crash has two lanes of I-25NB closed.

@ 8:30 PM

A single vehicle crash was called in to police at Gibson Blvd SE & Buena Vista Dr SE.

@ 10:35 PM

An off-duty APD officer came upon a crash on I-40 near Wyoming. He called out that three cars were involved.
