Woman Stabbed Near War Zone Apartment Complex

Albuquerque –

At approximately 8:05 PM, a 911 caller reported that a woman had sustained a stab wound to the neck.

Officers with the Albuquerque Police Department, along with Albuquerque Fire Rescue personnel, responded to a stabbing call at the Zuni Apartment Homes, located at 8010 Zuni Rd SE.

Upon arrival, APD officers found an adult female suffering from at least one stab wound. AFR’s Rescue 5 initiated patient care on scene; however, it remains unconfirmed whether the patient was transported to UNMH by AFR or by Albuquerque Ambulance. The woman’s condition remains unknown at this time.

Crime scene investigators were requested to document the woman’s injuries.
