Albuquerque –
Emergency personnel and police are responding to and investigating a crash on I-40 eastbound near University. Reportedly, the crash involved multiple vehicles and a motorcycle. A caller reported that a rider was purportedly down on the interstate and appeared to have been injured in this crash.

At least three ambulances were sent to this accident scene. From what we are able to tell, the cars involved are in the left lane, close to the jersey barrier. As of 4:55 PM, a tow truck is on scene removing on of the cars involved.
There is another accident at I-40 eastbound near Carlisle (mile marker 161). According to NM DOT/NMROADS, the two left lanes are closed due to a crash.
As of this publication, traffic on I-40EB is backed up to 4th St.
After this publication, another crash was reported on I-25 northbound on the flyover to I-40 eastbound. This crash is a rollover with the rolled vehicle on its roof.
Albuquerque Fire and Rescue, Albuquerque Ambulance, and the Albuquerque Police Department were sent to this accident.
