Two Crashes Reported on Lomas

Albuquerque –

Around 4:35 PM, an Albuquerque Police Department officer reported a crash near Lomas Blvd NE and Carlisle Blvd NE involving three vehicles, including an APD cruiser.

Initially, all individuals involved, including the officer, said they weren’t injured. However, around 4:45 PM, one driver began feeling unwell and asked to be taken to a nearby hospital. Albuquerque Fire and Rescue reportedly responded to the scene.

At the time of the crash, APD officers and Police Service Aides (PSAs) were blocking all southbound lanes of Carlisle north of Lomas.

Around 5:05 PM, a caller alerted dispatchers to another crash near the intersection of Lomas and San Mateo Blvd. Reports indicate that a vehicle struck a pedestrian. The driver allegedly remained at the scene.

The pedestrian reportedly did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
