Albuquerque – Two individuals are now facing federal human trafficking charges for allegedly forcing two minor girls, ages 14 and 15, into a life of prostitution. U.S. Attorney Alexander M.M. Uballez and Raul Bujanda, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Albuquerque Field Office, made the announcement today.

The federal indictment alleges that from December 29, 2024, to January 3, 2025, Roderick Bill Norseweather, 25, and Tajahnae Johnson, 21, knowingly recruited two minors from California for commercial sex acts, using force, threats, fraud, and coercion.

According to the federal indictment, Norseweather would threaten the teens with murder if they did not perform or do as they were told. One of the teens told federal investigators she made over $3,000 while in Albuquerque. Norseweather told the teens to charge $150 per interaction no matter the act they performed. Albuquerque Police found over $3,000 cash inside the seedy motel room when they arrested the suspects and saved the teens.

Norseweather and Johnson are accused of transporting the minors, both under 18 years old, across state lines with the knowledge that they would be engaging in prostitution. Specifically, the duo are charged with two counts each of sex trafficking of minors, and transportation of minors for illegal sexual activity.

Tajahnae Johnson is seen with the two teens she was criminally pimping out.

Norseweather and Johnson will remain in custody pending trial. A trial date not yet been setIf convicted, Norseweather and Johnson each face no less than 15 years and up to life in prison.

We exposed this situation after posting a video on our social media sites as the girls were seen working on Central in Albuquerque’s War Zone. At the time we had no idea the girls were under age teens.

Off the record we were told our footage greatly assisted investigators in capturing these predators and saving the teens.

The FBI Albuquerque Field Office and the Albuquerque Police Department investigated this case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Timothy Trembley is prosecuting the case.
