Albuquerque –
Officers responded Friday around 11:15 p.m. to a report of a stabbing at the Sandia Village apartments in the 5100 block of Prospector Way, N.W., near McMahon Blvd.

After responding to the scene of the stabbing, officers learned a female victim had been taken to a nearby hospital and died of her injuries.
Homicide detectives were called to the apartment complex to start an investigation.
