Woman with Gunshot Wound Seeks Safety at AFR Station

On Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, around 3:45 PM, a woman, reportedly in her 30s, showed up at an Albuquerque Fire Rescue firehouse 8, also known as a fire station, with a gunshot wound. AFR was rendering aid to the woman, and they called the Albuquerque Police Department about the shooting victim. AFR’s Station 8 is located at 1400 Indian View Pl, Albuquerque, NM 87112, which is the Foothills Area Command.

The woman was reportedly outside of a residence when someone drove by, shot at her, and she was hit at least once. Her condition is unknown at this time.

Officers from the Albuquerque Police Department arrived at the fire station and they are beginning to investigate this shooting.
