Albuquerque –
At approximately 10:54 PM on Friday, officers with the Albuquerque Police Department were dispatched to the 300 block of Rhode Island St. NE following reports of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers initially located at least one person suffering from stab wounds.
AFR subsequently advised APD officers that there were possibly three victims, all with stab injuries to their extremities. An officer applied a tourniquet to one of the injured individuals, while AFR and Albuquerque Ambulance Service provided additional medical assistance to the two other wounded individuals.
Three people were reportedly transported to a local hospital by AFR and AAS for treatment of injuries. At time of transport, their injuries were purportedly considered non-life-threatening.
It is currently unknown if a suspect was taken into custody. We emailed APD for additional information but as of this publication, we had not received a response.
If additional information becomes available, or if APD confirms that anyone has been charged in connection with the incident, we will provide an update.
