Agents with the New Mexico Department of Justice have arrested 38-year-old Genletly Maokhamphiou for child solicitation by electronic communication device for a child between 13 to 16.
Agents went undercover online posing as a young male teen on a website called doublelist.com. It is a dating site in different cities that cater various categories of dating and sexual fetishes. The site does have an age verification pop up.
According to an arrest warrant, Maokhamphiou responded to the undercover agents ad and began to groom the undercover agent. They exchanged emails and it escalated quickly to sexual desires from Maokhamphiou and he requested to meet the teen. He also sent the undercover agent videos and photos of him doing sexual acts to himself.
On April 22nd, 2024, a search warrant was executed on Maokhamphiou’s home and they took him into custody. They also seized evidence and questioned him about his disgusting ways. Maokhamphiou stated he was on the site to explore his bisexuality. When authorities asked him if he knew the teen was underage he stated he wasn’t sure about his age but he did know the teen was not over 18.
