As we previously reported to you on December 2, 2024, detectives from the Albuquerque Police Department were investigating a homicide that occurred at a residence situated at 211 San Lorenzo Avenue NW.

APD Detectives searched the home on San Lorenzo earlier this week for evidence related to reports of a murder.

Authorities have confirmed that APD Detectives have determined that the body found in a burnt-out vehicle in the far North Valley on December 1, 2024, by Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) investigators is directly connected to the ongoing investigation of the residence on San Lorenzo Avenue. APD’s homicide investigation is on-going.

At the time of this posting, the identity of the deceased individual found has not been released by either the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office or the Albuquerque Police Department.
