Albuquerque –
At 1:55 PM, a call came into 911 reporting a multiple vehicle crash on I-25 northbound (NB) near Lomas. The caller stated the accident occurred between Lomas and the Big I. Officers from the Albuquerque Police Department and Albuquerque Fire Rescue’s Engine 2, Rescue 2, Squad 2, and QI78 (EMS Supervisor, Paramedic Captain) were dispatched.
When APD and AFR got to the scene, they found three vehicles involved in the crash, including one that had rolled over. When police arrived, they found lanes three, four, and five blocked by the crash. Drivers may still notice the middle and right lanes remain closed. It’s currently unclear if anyone has been taken to the hospital for injuries.
Presently, we can see that there is a moderate traffic jam on I-25 NB near the Big I extending to Lomas. Drivers should check NMDOT signs to know which lanes to use. You can also go to NMRoads.com to check out live views of their DOT cams.

UPDATE:
As of 3:30 PM, traffic in the area is no longer backed up, and all lanes of traffic were opened back up at 3:40 PM.
