Albuquerque –
Reportedly, around 6:10 PM, there was a BCSO deputy-involved shooting. BCSO may have been working in conjunction with the New Mexico State Police at the time of this incident.
As a result, there is ongoing Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office activity in the 300 block of Wisconsin St NE.
Shortly after the gunshots were reported, Albuquerque Fire Rescue’s Engine 5 and Rescue 5 were dispatched to a call involving a person with at least one gunshot wound. It is unclear whether AFR transported anyone.
No deputies were injured.

Drivers should avoid both Wisconsin and Virginia between Copper and Chico. Closures may expand as the Multi Agency Task Force Investigates.
