Albuquerque –

According to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, around 1 am this morning, deputies were dispatched to the area of 4th Street and Alameda for a drive-by shooting. When they arrived they found two gun shot victims.

BCSO says from the investigation, deputies learned of two individuals who sustained gunshot wounds to their legs.

Both were transported to UNMH with non-life threatening injuries.

BCSO goes on to say multiple witnesses were interviewed, but there was no confirmation on suspect information due to it being a house party with multiple people fleeing the scene.

We will update this story if any more information is released.

    1. Hello, the information we received from BCSO states “Deputies are on scene of a shooting in the area of 4th Street & Alameda Blvd. At this time, at least two individuals have been transported to the local hospital with gunshot wounds. The offender(s) are still outstanding. All of 4th Street is blocked to Alameda Rd.” Earlier in the day, we did reach out for more specifics and our questions were sent to the on-call detective, but at this time, we have not heard back. We will email BCSO’s PIO and ask them for clarification. Thanks for reaching out.
