Albuquerque –
At around 1:30 PM, there was a multi-vehicle crash just before the intersection of Juan Tabo and I-40, near the Olive Garden. A Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office vehicle was among the vehicles involved in the collision, which included a total of six cars.
At least two individuals were transported to the hospital with injuries. While on the scene, we observed Albuquerque Fire Rescue personnel extracting an individual from a sports car. Their condition is currently unknown. After they were extricated, they were also taken to a local area hospital.
Additionally, two people were reportedly taken into custody following a foot chase.
Before the crash, the Albuquerque Police Department (APD) reported ShotSpotter activity in the area. The BCSO has also reportedly found numerous shell casings in the vicinity. We are in the process of confirming additional details from BCSO and APD regarding the cause of this multi-vehicle collision. Updates will be provided as soon as more information is available.
Authorities may block off streets near Juan Tabo and Copper as they investigate the crash and a related shooting. While on scene, we observed the closure of southbound Juan Tabo at Copper.
The wreck on juan tabo started by advanced auto parts and pep boys they shot our food truck and are personal truck our trailer was hit 4 times and the truck was hit once the trailer has allot of damage and the truck will not run there is a bullet lodged in the engine the trailer our flat top grill has a bullet lodged in it and one of the fridge has a bullet lodged in it both are broken all for some little punks stupidity
Did they aim at your vehicle, or were you guys bystanders? The story above, by Raw does not clearly report the circumstances. Idiots with weapons shooting at others, need to be locked up for a minimum of a year while awaiting court, since it may be the only time they go to Jail.
